营建母树林是改良树种遗传品质的主要手段之一,它的增益来源于选择优良林分、伐除劣株。母树林是以生产良种为目的的林分,材积的生长是第二位。在红松母树子代增益确定之前,从材积和产种量两方面考虑最佳密度,是为今后建成真正的母树林提供一些依据。为探求这一密度,于1977年冬开始设置样地,至今已设置5组19块(每块1.0亩)。设置时是按着定性间伐,每样地组分强、中、弱3种间伐强度和1块不间伐的对照。今又对各样地的保留密度,用定量间伐
The construction of mother tree forest is one of the main means to improve the genetic quality of tree species, and its gain comes from the selection of good stands, the removal of inferior strains. The parent forest is for the purpose of producing improved stands, volume growth is the second place. Before determining the gain of the kiwifruit tree, considering the optimal density in terms of volume and yield, it provides some evidences for building a real parent forest in the future.
