策展人产生于西方博物馆,美术馆体系的建立密切相关.策展人一词源于英文“CURATOR”,全称“展览策划人,是指在艺术展览活动中担任构思,组织,管理的专业人员”1上世纪80年代初,策展人正式进入了中国市场,90年代,中国本土的策展人开始逐步的形成与发展起来,并且产生了一大批策展名家如:范迪安、高士明、卢杰、皮力、黄笃等.21世纪,随着国家的快速发展,80.90后的年轻策展人开始崭露头角,同时带着他们新鲜而活跃的力量,成功的推动了中国策展事业更上一层楼.那么在我国,当代艺术策展人对我国当代艺术展览发展有什么重要影响了?我国当代艺术展览发展的趋势是怎样的?和西方相比较又有什么不足和独具特色的地方?我国当代艺术策展人需要拥有什么样的能力才能合格的做好策展事业?这是我们接下来该论述和解决的问题.
