本研究通过问卷调查方式对非英语专业大学生英语自主学习能力进行调研。结果显示:(1)英语自主学习能力总体较弱;(2)男、女生自主学习能力无显著差异;(3)大一、大二学生自主学习能力没有显著差异;(4)不同专业学生自主学习能力总体无显著差异,但在对策略使用的监控方面,工科生和艺科生显著高于文科生和理科生,工科生和艺科生无显著差异。本研究表明教师可通过加强学习策略培训和应用等方面入手提高大学生英语自主学习能力。
This study investigates the English self-study ability of non-English majors by questionnaire. The results showed that: (1) English self-learning ability was generally weak; (2) There was no significant difference in self-learning ability of boys and girls; (3) There was no significant difference in self-learning ability of freshmen and sophomores; (4) There was no significant difference in learning abilities in general, but there was no significant difference between engineering students and arts students in science and engineering students and science students in the monitoring of tactical use. This study shows that teachers can improve college students’ ability of autonomous learning by strengthening training and application of learning strategies.
