在PLM发展的20多年中,大量的新技术和新概念不断涌现,传统PLM厂商能够提供的产品也越来越丰富。随着客户对PLM的期望值不断扩大,应用企业对信息化系统提出了新的需求,在宏观的市场领域,催生了PLM更多的战略布局。然而,市场需求的波动性以及CAD行业的假饱和现象部表明PLM仍在遭遇核心的难题:复杂。复杂的信息数据、复杂的产品功能、复杂的软件系统、复杂的市场环境以及复杂的客户需求让新生技术的创新能力大打折扣。面对挑战,PLM领域的厂商正在不断重整市场目标与定位、优化产品结构和功能。2010年,PLM行业的三大巨头西门子、PTC和达索各展所长,引领着PLM向更高层次发展。
In the more than 20 years of PLM development, a large number of new technologies and new concepts are emerging, and the products that traditional PLM vendors can provide are getting richer and richer. With the increasing expectation of customers for PLM, application enterprises have put forward new demands on information system and have given birth to more strategic layout of PLM in the macro market. However, the volatility of market demand and the false saturations in the CAD industry suggest that PLM is still experiencing a central challenge: complexity. Complicated information and data, complex product functions, complex software systems, complex market environment and complex customer needs have greatly reduced the innovation capability of nascent technologies. In the face of challenges, PLM manufacturers are constantly re-targeting the market and positioning, optimizing product structure and function. In 2010, PLM industry’s three giants Siemens, PTC and Dassault each director, led the PLM to a higher level.
