在美国的华人学者王靖献先生的《钟与鼓》一书中,通过借用帕里——洛尔德的理论,分析了《诗经》中“套语”和“主题”的问题。这种研究古希腊史诗的“套语理论”对当代《诗经》研究带来了一定的影响。本文主要从两个方面入手,其一,通过对《毛传》所涉及的一百多处“兴”的表述的统计与阐释,弄清楚《诗经》之“兴”的具体内涵及其文化外延。其二,结合王靖献先生在《钟与鼓》中所阐述的“主题”的理论,对“主题”与“兴”的相似性和差异性进行界定。
In his book “The Bell and the Drum” of the Chinese scholar Wang Jingxian in the United States, this paper analyzes the problems of “sets of language ” and “subject ” in The Book of Songs by borrowing Parry-Holl’s theory. This kind of “metaphor theory” of ancient Greek epics has brought a certain influence on the study of the Book of Songs. This article mainly starts with two aspects. First, through the statistics and explanation of more than one hundred “Xing” expressions involved in “Mao Chuan”, we can find out the concrete connotation of “Xing” in “The Book of Songs” And its cultural extension. Second, we define the similarities and differences between “subject ” and “Xing ” based on the theory of “theme ” elaborated by Wang Jingxian in Zhong and Drum.
