唾液酸Tn(sialyl Tn,sTn)抗原是被截断的O-聚糖,是Tn抗原(GalNAc-α-Ser/Thr)的唾液酸化形式。癌细胞中异常糖基化通路的激活可导致sTn抗原的表达,其与癌症的不良预后有关。sTn抗原的生物合成与唾液酸转移酶ST6GalNAc1的表达以及Cosmic基因杂合性突变缺失有关。在许多类型的上皮癌中均有sTn抗原的新表达或过表达。sTn抗原在多种糖蛋白表面均可检测到,可影响蛋白质功能并参与癌症的进展。
The sialyl Tn (sTn) antigen is a truncated O-glycan that is the sialylated form of the Tn antigen (GalNAc-α-Ser / Thr). Activation of aberrant glycosylation pathways in cancer cells can lead to the expression of sTn antigens, which is associated with poor prognosis of cancer. The biosynthesis of sTn antigen is related to the expression of sialyltransferase ST6GalNAc1 and deletion of heterozygous mutation of Cosmic gene. New or overexpressed sTn antigens are present in many types of epithelial cancers. The sTn antigen is detectable on a variety of glycoprotein surfaces, affecting protein function and participating in cancer progression.
