中国插花在当代发展、推广缓慢,是由于受制于一些因素。其一,中国古代虽有几部插花名著,如明·高濂《瓶花三说》,明·张谦德《瓶花谱》,明·袁宏道《瓶史》等,但缺乏白话解析版。其二,缺乏符合时代要求的既有民族特色又不乏时代感的插花理论规范和技术技巧。其三,中国传统插花习惯上用木本花材多过用草本花材。带有民族特色的木本花材确实有许多优点,但木本花材的繁殖、栽培、应用还无法满足需要,取材大大受限。其四,由于以上因素的影响,中国插花在群众中的推广力度不够,普及的程度有一定的局限性。 中国传统插花自古至今,深受宗教、哲学、绘画艺术、
