桦树在我区分布广泛,每年种子产量很大,可惜过去未加以充分利用。为了充分利用森林资源,发展我区有价值的乡土树种,挖掘种苗潜力,解决目前种苗不足的困难,以适应大地园林化的需要,我所试验场,继1954年对白桦采种、贮藏、育苗试验之后,于今年夏季,又进行了白桦、黑桦的播种育苗方法研究,并取得初步成果,现介绍如下: 一、种子来源与贮藏。我们今年试验的白桦、黑桦种子,系1958年9月采集于大兴安岭绰尔林区,经同年11月上旬贮藏前的温箱发芽检验(21℃恒温),白桦的种子发芽率为20%,黑桦的种子发芽率为22.7%,
