通过砾岩成分、古流向、碎屑组成、重矿物、主量元素的系统分析方法,对准噶尔盆地南缘水西沟群进行物源分析。砾岩成分组合特征显示八道湾组和西山窑组沉积期,伊林哈比尔尕山、北天山和中天山北缘断裂一线为物源区。古流分析数据显示八道湾组和西山窑组古流以北东、西向为主,表明伊林哈比尔尕山应为其主物源区;三工河组古流向主要为南南西和南东向,表明当时博格达山和伊林哈比尔尕山并非物源区。盆地南缘西段和东段为基性岩浆岩的重矿物组合显示物源可能来自北天山。而中段存在中酸性岩浆岩—基性岩物源显示博格达山为物源区。
Through the systematic analysis of conglomerate components, paleocurrent direction, detrital composition, heavy minerals and major elements, the provenances of Shuixigou Group in the southern margin of Junggar Basin were analyzed. The conglomerate assemblage shows that the sedimentary period of the Badaowan Formation and the Xishanyao Formation, the fault line Gailan, Er Tianshan, and the northern margin of the Middle Tianshan Mountains, are the provenances. The paleocurrent analysis shows that the paleocurrent in the Badaowan Formation and the Xishanyao Formation is dominated by the NE and WX directions, indicating that the Gaoyashan Mountain in the Yulin Habier should be its main source area. The Paleogene flows in the Sangonghe Formation are mainly south, south, west and south, indicating that at that time Bogda Mountain and Elinhaber Ga Gushan is not a source area. The heavy mineral assemblages, which are basic magmatic rocks in the western and eastern parts of the southern margin of the basin, may have originated from the northern Tianshan Mountains. However, the middle-acidic magmatic rocks-basic rocks show the Bogda Mountains as provenance.
