一、1998年风云多变幻：全球经济增长速度减慢，通货紧缩加剧1、1998年全球经济增长速度大幅度减慢，世界国内生产总值勉强达到1．7％，而1997年为3．3％。美国经济增长强劲，欧洲也在缓慢上升，但日本经济强烈收缩。同时，亚洲经济活动陷入困境，拉丁美洲经济发展也急剧减速。
I. The Changing Circumstances of 1998: Global Economic Growth Slows and Deflation Fueled 1.
