Bows are now expensive, not good quality. Keep in mind Henderson’s words in his book How to Make a Violin Bow: “Without a bow, a violin is useless.” As far as I know, string players lack the bow design, structure, etc. There seems to be too much knowledge of people. As a result, the piano bow is overly dependent on subjective judgment. In the light of this, I would like to dedicate my readers an objective standard of self-righteousness to determine the suitability of a bow. It does not exclude subjective judgments, but it is intended to supplement it.
