先进涵道推进(ADP)验证机先后在美国普惠公司佛罗里达西州棕榈滩露天试车台上和在NASA艾姆斯研究中心完成了验证试车,试验结果令人满意,油耗与噪声均大幅度降低,普惠公司打算进一步进行生产型发动机试验。ADP项目已引起波音公司、空中客车工业公司和麦道公司的兴趣。 ADP是在涡扇发动机基础上改装了风扇部件,由低压涡轮通过减速器驱动加大直径的桨扇叶片。通过变距机构,在起飞、巡航、降落时使用不同的桨叶角,滑跑时还可以反桨以缩短滑跑距离,同时大大降低了耗油率,起飞、降落时转速低,噪声也相应降低。 ADP验证机采用PW2040发动
The Advanced Duct Propulsion (ADP) validator completed the validation test at the Pratt & Whitney California’s Palm Beach open-air test bed at NASA and the Ames Research Center at NASA with satisfactory results and significantly reduced fuel consumption and noise , Pratt & Whitney plans to further production-type engine test. The ADP project has drawn interest from Boeing, Airbus Industries and McDonnell Douglas. ADP is based on the turbofan engine modified fan components, by the low-pressure turbine through reducer drive larger diameter blade blades. Through the variable pitch mechanism, take off, cruise, landing when using different blade angle, can also run the run-time anti-propeller to shorten the sliding distance, while greatly reducing fuel consumption, take-off, landing speed is low, the noise is also corresponding reduce.
