1999年11 月15~16日,全国商办工业开拓城乡市场暨品牌发展战略座谈会在京召开,田元兰副局长出席会议并讲话。田副局长强调指出,各地商办工业主管部门和企业要深刻领会开拓城乡市场,特别是开拓农村市场的重大意义,把开拓农村市场作为商办工业扭亏脱困和进一步发展的重要举措抓紧抓好。商办工业近几年在开拓市场特别是开拓农村市场中花了不少力量,取得了一定进展,也涌现出了一批知名品牌。在本次会议上,国家内贸局确定了50家企业的52个品牌作为全国商办工业首批重点支持和发展的品牌。这些企业在激烈的市场竞争中能够加大产品结构调整力度,积极开发适销对路产品,在开拓城乡市场
From November 15 to November 1999, the symposium on developing the market of urban and rural areas and the strategy of brand development for commercial and industrial enterprises nationwide was held in Beijing. Deputy Director Tian emphasized that the competent industrial departments and enterprises in all localities should profoundly understand the great significance of exploring the urban and rural markets, especially the rural market. We must pay close attention to opening up the rural market as an important measure to lift the rural industrialists off their losses and further their development. In recent years, the commercial industry has spent a great deal of effort in developing the market, especially in the rural market. Some progress has been made and a number of famous brands have also emerged. At this meeting, the State Domestic Trade Administration identified 52 brands of 50 enterprises as the first batch of key supporting and developing brands in the commercial and industrial sectors in the country. These enterprises in the fierce competition in the market can increase the intensity of product restructuring, and actively develop marketable products, in developing urban and rural markets
