随着媒体多样性的发展,每一种媒体以其自身的优越性推陈出新、不断开发,电视媒体包装是电视媒体自身发展的需要,也是电视节目、栏目、频道成熟稳定的一个标志。电视观众面对的不同的电视频道和不同类型的节目有着各自的选择。各台、各频道、各栏目之间存在着非常激烈的竞争。节目或频道的包装是其最大的亮点,包括徽标设计、呼号设计、频道ID、导航系统设计。电视频道包装在激烈的频道竞争中所起的作用是非常重要的。电视频道的包装应该和频道的发展有一定的相通性,如:音乐频道的节奏感;电视频道包装要具有可识别性,在色系、字体、背景音乐类型等方面;确立电视节目、栏目、频道的受众群体,定位品牌,为后期市场营销奠定基础。
