Avid Technology, Inc., Leading Post Production Company in Hollywood Chooses Avid HD Systems On October 15, 2003, Avid Technology, Inc. announced in Singapore that leading post-production houses in Hollywood are using select Avid HD systems to produce high-quality shows for the fall TV show. The 2003 to 2004 season showcased the extensive use of Avid | DS HD systems for show shows, demonstrating industry acceptance of high-definition video formats and recognition of Avid’s nonlinear post-processing solutions. According to the 2003-04 TV Season’s Hollywood Reporter’s Guide, the most talked-about repertoire titles of this year were mostly produced using Avid | DS HD systems compared to other post-processing solutions.
