1983年夏,笔者会同中国社会科学院民族研究所及北京自然博物馆两单位的部分人员,前往黑龙江省赫哲族地区收集渔猎生产及生活用品。在此期间,曾于赫哲族集居的街津口渔村采集到一批细石器标本,同时还有一定数量的散碎陶片及陶网坠等。鉴于赫哲族是我国人口是少而长期未能形成文字的一个民族,本民族虽有悠久的历史但缺乏记载,因此这一发现有着十分重要的意义。特别是细石器的发现,
