学起于思,思起于疑。课堂教学中,设置悬念是重要的教学手段之一,它被贯穿于教学过程的各个环节中,是师生双边活动的重要纽带,是教学过程落实、提高、推进和发展三维教学目标的重要动力,是师生思想交流的重要方式之一。有的教师认为设置悬念是一种文学技巧,与化学教学关系不大,其实不然。悬念是课堂教学的重要技巧。在化学教学中设置悬念,就是对一些正在研究、发展中的新课题,教师不匆忙作出结论,而是创设一个悬而未决的教学情境,叫学生欲答不能,欲罢不忍,旨在激发学生的求知欲和创造欲,从而引导学生主动“探求、考虑、发现、推断”。所以,悬念式教学法,既能使教学内容产生巨大诱惑力而吸引学生的注意,增强教学艺术感染力,又能有效地激活学生的智力,点燃多种思维特别是发散性思维的火花。更重要的是,在破悬揭答的过程中,他们由当初问题的摸索者成为后来问题的驾驭者,角色的转换将使他们看到自身的力量和智慧,从而形成一种自尊和自信的心理素质。当新的问题出现时,他们不再畏惧和胆怯,先前的成功体验会呼唤出探索的力量和动力。自然地,探索更富于成效。
