中印度河盆地是巴基斯坦南部的一个主要含气区,目的层平均埋深为3500m,圈闭类型为构造、岩性或构造-岩性混合圈闭,目前勘探主要是寻找Low Goru组砂岩的天然气。为了进一步了解该盆地的剩余勘探潜力,根据Exxon的识别不整合面和可对比整合面的方法,对中印度河盆地从侏罗系到最新的沉积进行了层序地层解释,并对烃源岩、储集层、盖层及不同沉积环境的形成进行了板块构造背景分析。在新建立的层序地层框架下,对中印度河盆地2个已证实含油气层系进行了描述。图8参9
The Central Indian River basin is a major gas-bearing area in southern Pakistan. The average buried depth of the target layer is 3500 m. The trap type is structural, lithological or tectonic-lithological mixed traps. Currently, the exploration is mainly for gas exploration of Low Gor Formation sandstone . In order to further understand the remaining exploration potential of the basin, according to Exxon’s method of identifying unconformities and contrasting integrated surfaces, the sequence stratigraphy of the Central Indian River from the Jurassic to the latest sediments was interpreted and the source rocks , Reservoir, cap rock and different sedimentary environment. Under the framework of the newly established sequence stratigraphy, two proven petroleum-bearing strata in the Central Indian River Basin are described. Figure 8 reference 9
