根据尾瓣持续磁重联的特征,首先利用Cluster星簇测量的近地磁尾等离子体密度、温度、整体运动速度、磁场等数据,确认尾瓣磁重联过程的存在;其次,利用GOES,LANL等同步高度卫星数据,极光数据以及地面观测的AE指数等描述亚暴突发(onset)现象;结合上述两方面的观测,进而分析研究了尾瓣持续磁重联和磁层亚暴的相关性和时序关系,确认了尾瓣持续磁重联是行星际磁场持续南向期间亚暴膨胀相突发的原因.
According to the characteristics of continuous magnetic reconnection, the existence of tail magnetic reconnection was confirmed by using the data of the near-surface magnetic tail plasma density, temperature, global moving velocity and magnetic field measured by Cluster Cluster. Secondly, using GOES, LANL Isochronous height satellite data, auroral data and ground-based AE index are used to describe the onset of sub-storm. Combined with the above two observations, the correlation between persistent flap reconnection and magnetic sub-storms is analyzed And timing relationship, it is confirmed that the continuum magnetic reconnection of the tail lobe is the reason of sudden burst of the sub-storm during the southward travel of the interplanetary magnetic field.
