Objective To summarize the role of dynamic glucose monitoring and electroencephalogram monitoring in neonatal hypoglycemic brain injury. Methods A total of 37 children with HBD were enrolled in our neonatology department. EEG monitoring and CGMS were used to monitor the changes of blood glucose 24 hours. Results The abnormal rate of EEG in hypoglycemia group was 75.6%. The mean blood glucose level was 27.5 mg / dL in CGMS monitoring group. The blood glucose level fluctuated obviously from 0:00 to 3:00 (range, 00:00 to 3:00), ranging from 17.12 to 42.5 mg / dL. Continuous oxygenation than non-oxygen state, blood glucose fluctuations in small. Conclusion In the diagnosis and evaluation of HBD, EEG and CGMS monitoring have very important clinical significance.
