部分采用钛合金材料的某型发动机为了改进性能,压气机2、3级转子叶片。改用TC6钛合金,4、5、6级转子叶片改用TC9钛合金。但是,钛合金的机械加工比较困难,尤其是在热处理过程中因高温氧化形成的污染层,质地坚硬很难切削。在970℃挤压出来的TC9钛合金叶片污染层厚度在0.12~0.15毫米左右;在950℃挤压出来的TC6钛合金叶片污染层厚度在0.22~0.25毫米左右。测定这些钛合金污染层的最外层显微硬度相当于HRC59左
