Objective: To study the relationship between neonatal blood sugar level and brain damage caused by hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. Methods: From February 2009 to July 2012, 101 neonates with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) were treated in our hospital for blood glucose monitoring. The blood glucose level and the degree of brain injury in hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy Relationship between different levels of brain injury in children with abnormal blood glucose and blood glucose average. Results: The rate of abnormal blood glucose and blood glucose in children with severe hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy were significantly higher than those in mild-moderate children (p <0.05). Conclusion: Abnormal blood glucose can aggravate hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy brain injury, so its children should be closely observed changes in blood glucose, early detection and correction of abnormal blood glucose, thereby effectively reducing the incidence of cerebral palsy and other sequelae.
