《九年制英语新课程标准》强调英语教学要注重素质教育,体现语言学习对学生发展的价值,教学的对象是全体学生,要关注语言学习者的不同特点和个性差异。英语,作为一门非母语语言学科,相对于其他学科来说,学生怕学英语的问题比较突出。在初中英语教学中,两级分化现象严重,各班级的英语“后进生”人数逐级增加。因此,针对初中生的特点和英语学科的特性,改变“后进生”对英语学习价值的认识,找出积极转化“后进生”的有效对策已刻不容缓。
The “New Curriculum Standard for Nine-year English” emphasizes that English teaching should emphasize quality education and embodies the value of language learning for students’ development. The target of teaching is all students, and attention should be paid to the different characteristics and individual differences of language learners. English, as a non-native language subject, is a problem that students are more afraid of learning English than other subjects. In junior high school English teaching, the phenomenon of two levels of differentiation is serious, and the number of English “backward students ” in each class increases step by step. Therefore, in view of the characteristics of junior high school students and the characteristics of the English subject, it is necessary to change the understanding of English learning value and find out the effective countermeasure of positive conversion.
