As the second largest economy, our country is one of the few countries that have expanded their investment in the global cross-border investment pattern in recent years. Especially after the international financial crisis in 2009, the overseas mergers and acquisitions of Chinese enterprises have been kept active and the scale of mergers and acquisitions has been constantly expanding. Enterprises “going to sea ” will help them make better use of the two resources and expand their markets in two markets. It will also help the adjustment of China’s industrial structure and economic restructuring and upgrading. However, the continually expanding “sea going” team and M & A scale have also brought about such problems as the increase of trade frictions and the rise of investment protectionism. Government and enterprises should be how to deal with new challenges, take advantage of the new situation, our correspondent recently in the Gordon tax summit forum interviewed long engaged in cross-border mergers and acquisitions of enterprises of the State Council Development Research Center, Zhang Wenkui, deputy director of the Institute.
