昆虫与食料植物间的关系,是昆虫学研究中一个值得重视的课题。1840年Walsh曾提出昆虫因食料植物不同影响所形成的种和变种的问题。本世纪初开始了食料原因的试验研究,其后又创设了有关食性形成原因的某些理论。在国际学术活动中,曾举行有关昆虫与食料植物的专题讨论会。 The relationship between insects and foodstuffs is a subject worth attention in entomological research. In 1840 Walsh had raised the issue of species and varieties of insects that were formed as a result of the different effects of foodstuff plants. The beginning of this century began the experimental study of food causes, and later created some theories on the causes of feeding. In the international academic activities, held a symposium on insects and food plants.
