本文作者通过对脑囊虫病人３５２例临床资料的综合分析研究，对比参照组单用吡喹酮组及单用丙硫咪唑组和吡喹酮与丙硫咪唑交替使用组，在总有效率方面得出结论，中西医结合治疗脑囊虫病明显高于其他对照组。在中西药结合治疗下，高颅压型及癫痫型脑囊虫病都缩短了疗程及尽量避免了强烈的囊虫崩解后的变态反应，是值得推广的一项治疗方法
