信息消费已经成为我国扩大内需、转变经济发展方式的重要抓手,是未来一段时期新的消费增长点。本文根据1995-2012年城镇居民平均每人现金消费支出情况,测算了城镇居民信息消费规模及其特征表现,并相应提出了促进信息消费的政策建议。研究发现,信息消费在现金消费支出中的比例呈现出先快速上升而后缓慢下降,并最终稳定在2 0%左右的水平上;城镇居民的边际信息消费倾向基本稳定在0.11的水平,信息消费收入弹性基本保持在0.8以上的水平,并且都逐步趋于稳定;在信息消费的组成结构中,医疗保健消费和通信消费的增长速度要远远大于文教娱乐消费的增长速度。
Information consumption has become an important starting point for China to expand domestic demand and transform its economic development mode, and is a new point of consumption growth in the coming period. Based on the average per capita cash expenditures of urban residents in 1995-2012, this paper estimates the scale and characteristics of urban residents’ consumption of information, and puts forward corresponding policy recommendations to promote information consumption. The study found that the proportion of information consumption in cash consumption expenditures showed a rapid increase at first and then slowly declined, and finally stabilized at a level of about 20%. The marginal information consumption tendency of urban residents basically stabilized at the level of 0.11, and the information consumption elasticity of income Basically maintained at the level of 0.8 and above, and all tended to be stable. In the composition of information consumption, the growth rate of health care consumption and communication consumption was far greater than that of cultural, educational and recreational consumption.
