机油添加剂一般可分为两种,一种“Oil Treat-ment”(保护机油),俗称机油精;另一种“EngineTreatment”(保护发动机),即真正的发动机保护剂。前者只是保护油类的添加剂,旨在提高机抽本身的性能,因此其功能随机油的更换(约7000km换一次)而消失。而后者能渗入发动机机体,形成薄膜,填补活塞环与气缸壁间的间隙,以减少磨损,提高功率,省油,降低油温及水温。其功能不会随机油的更换而消失,故使用寿命长。而含铁氟龙的发动机保护剂添加一次其效用可达80000km之久。
Oil additives generally can be divided into two kinds, an “Oil Treat-ment” (oil protection), commonly known as machine oil; another “EngineTreatment” (protection of the engine), the real engine protection agent. The former is only an additive to protect the oil and aims to improve the performance of the machine itself, so its function disappears with the replacement of random oil (about 7000 km). The latter can penetrate the engine body, forming a thin film to fill the gap between the piston ring and the cylinder wall to reduce wear and tear, improve power, fuel economy, lower oil temperature and water temperature. Its function will not be replaced by random oil and disappear, so long service life. The Teflon-containing engine protectant added once its effectiveness up to 80,000km long.
