敦煌书法作为中国书法的重要组成部分,因其特殊的地缘优势和所具有的独创性和自身特色,不仅代表了一个时代的艺术高度,也代表了一个民族的审美高度和审美价值。若没有民族个性,没有独立自足的美学空间,敦煌书法就难以形成作为一个独特的书法体系的价值标准。也只有通过美学解读的敦煌书法,才能创造出一个更为广阔深远的敦煌书法发展空间。对敦煌书法从产生到各个时代的嬗变等进行全面、系统、深入的分析,重点把敦煌书法美学作为一个个案来考察,不仅能创造出较为广阔深远的敦煌书法发展空间,而且更具审美价值与时代意义。
