Objective To study the influence of preoperative psychological status of patients with cardiac pacemaker on postoperative quality of life and related pacing physiological parameters. Methods Ninety-six patients with pacemakers were enrolled in 2013-2014. Trait anxiety and Somatization Symptom Scale (SSS) scores in the application state-trait anxiety scale (STAI) were grouped. SF-12 quality of life Scale (SF-12) for the quality of life of patients in all aspects of evaluation analysis and analysis of related factors. Results There was a significant difference in the overall health self-assessment (P <0.05 or 0.01) between the non-anxiety group (n = 66) and the anxiety group (n = 28) , Overall self-assessment and mental health were significantly lower than non-somatization group (n = 62). The incidence of postoperative cardiovascular symptoms was significantly higher in anxiety group than in non-anxiety group. Conclusions Patients with cardiac pacemaker implanted with anxiety and somatization symptoms significantly affect their postoperative quality of life.
