The supremacist creation founded by Russian artist Kazimir Malevir played an important role in the European avant-garde movement of the early 20th century. The Declaration of Supremacy published in 1915 proposed and described the beginning of a “new culture ”Supremacist art style. The declaration criticizes the imitation and reproduction of the realistic things by the realistic style of naturalism, aestheticism and academicism, and advocates geometric abstract painting that is more simple and rational than Cubism and Futurism. Based on the pursuit of pure color and form, Malevich emphasized the importance of artist’s personal consciousness in the creation of free art and profoundly influenced the development of abstract art and constructivism throughout the 20th century. This article divided into multiple serialized, this is the first part.
