In this paper, the distribution of total dissolved inorganic arsenic (TDIAs, [TDIAs] = [As5 +] + [As3 +]) and arsenite (As3 +) in the Yellow and East China Seas And seasonal changes. The survey area covered different hydrological and chemical properties of the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea. The study focused on the PN section along the Yangtze River estuary to the southeastern Ryukyu Islands to discuss the impact of terrestrial transport on the marginal sea of China. Different patterns of arsenic (TDIAs, As3 +) were analyzed by hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry (HG-AFS). The impact of terrestrial transport of TDIAs is higher in the nearshore region, and decreases gradually as the offshore distance increases. The high value center of TDIAs also exists in the sub-bottom water of the continental shelf slope break of the East China Sea. This region has the characteristics of low temperature, high salinity and low suspended particulate matter content. It shows that Kuroshio water on the invaded shelf is another major source of TDIAs in the shelf area. The seasonal variation trend of TDIAs is affected by the seasonal and interannual variations of the amount of red water in the Yangtze River and the shelf intrusion of the Kuroshio. In contrast to TDIAs, the distribution characteristics of As3 + in the study area are affected by phytoplankton activities and their contents, distributions and seasonal changes show a positive correlation with chlorophyll content. The As / P stoichiometry of the PN section of the East China Sea shelf is about 2 × 10-3. The contents of dissolved arsenic in the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea are similar to those in other parts of the world, indicating that they are not significantly affected by anthropogenic activities.
