国家宏观导向、行业实际情况、学科建设现状以及学校生源情况都对艺术管理学科的理论与实践互补提出了更新、更高的要求。面对当前的任务、问题与挑战,上海戏剧学院参考多种教学模式,根据国内外专家调研意见,特为大一新生创造性地开办为期一学年的“艺术现场”课程。引进具有丰富实际经营管理经验的业界导师,特别是一批外国专家、学者,带领学生进入艺术现场、参与艺术项目,一方面消化、巩固、深化理论知识,一方面亲身体验、经历、总结实践操作,理论与实践相结合,让学生从进入学校第一天起就进入艺术管理语境,全身心、多角度、多层面地学习、体验艺术管理活动。在教学实践中取得了较好的教学效果,激发了学生的学习热情,提高了学生的自学能力、实践能力、团队合作能力、综合运用知识能力等多项工作与终身学习的技能。
