The granite diagenesis and ore-forming material sources have always been a matter of debate in geology. Our study shows that the diagenetic and ore-forming materials of the Mesozoic granites in the Nanling area may come mainly from the in situ stratum or rock involved in melting (remelting). The rock mass in Fig. 1a is all of the early Yanshan biotite granites, and the latest “intrusion” strata are Upper Jurassic. The former Cretaceous basement strata in the area can be roughly divided into four pre-Paleozoic, Lower Paleozoic, Upper Paleozoic and Mesozoic strata.
