如果说中国传统媒体在前20年的媒体融合进程中有“体制机制”问题牵扯的话,美国的媒体集团完全没有这样的制约。他们拥有充沛资源、充足资金、充分资历,以及完全自由心证及独立决策能力,理应掀起一场媒体融合的完美风暴。但事实并非如此。美国三大传媒望族苏兹伯格家族、格雷厄姆家族、默多克家族在数字时代的新媒体之路同样漫长、曲折。为什么他们在新媒体领域屡战不胜?梳理这三大家族的新媒体实践,我们看到四组关键词:信仰缺失、技术缺乏、平台缺少、文化缺
If China’s traditional media had the problem of “institutional mechanism” in the process of media convergence in the first two decades, there is absolutely no such restriction on the part of the media groups in the United States. Their abundant resources, adequate funding, full qualifications, as well as their complete freedom of opinion and decision-making ability should set off a perfect storm of media convergence. but it is not the truth. The three major news media families in the United States, the Sulzberger family, the Graham family, and the Murdoch family, have also had a long and tortuous history of new media in the digital age.
