罗伯特.弗罗斯特(1874-1963)是美国二十世纪最为杰出的现代派诗人之一,他以其清新质朴的创作风格和淳熟的写作技巧饮誉诗坛。但纵观他的一生,人们不难发现弗罗斯特的文学之路走得异常艰难曲折,为了成就诗歌创作的理想,他远赴英伦,最终开启了通向成功的幸运之门。英国的经历是诗人一生最为重要的转折点,因此成为研究其生平及诗歌创作的重要部分。本文旨在探析这短短两年多的英国经历对于弗罗斯特一生的诗歌命运以及诗歌创作的影响。
Robert Frost (1874-1963) was one of the most prominent modernist poets in the United States in the twentieth century. He earned his reputation for his fresh, rustic style and his well-established writing skills. However, throughout his life, people find it hard to find that Frost’s literary path went extremely difficult and tortuous. In order to achieve the ideal of poetry, he went to England and finally opened the door to success. The experience of Britain was the poet’s most important turning point in his life, and thus became an important part of his life and his poetry. The purpose of this article is to analyze the influence of the British experience of just two years on Frost’s poetry’s fate and poetry.
