Graham Greene (1904-1991) was a prominent English writer in the 20th century. His “Trilogy of Religions” most watched by the world is “Brighton Hard Candy,” “Rights and Glory,” and “Problems The core of ”, brought him the title of“ Catholic writer ”. These three works embody the suspicion of religion and the pursuit, questioning and reflection on the survival of their own character in the original “Green’s”. Green’s unique and wonderful settings for the plot and the characters as well as their understanding of human existence exactly coincide with the existentialist views and discussions about human beings. This must also be why he would be called an existential writer. This article attempts to interpret the protagonist priest in the religious persecution of Mexico in “Power and Glory” through the use of Heidegger’s “The Theory of Being.” In the run-up, the priest of Fatherhood finally realized that he was experiencing the threat of suffering, solitude, hopelessness and death The significance of the mastery of their own “This ” entered the “true ” state of existence.
