In the sixties and seventies of the nineteenth century, earth-shaking changes took place in the capitalist world, which in a sense affected the world. The United States later became the world’s number one powerhouse. Germany’s rise to the United States can be said to have benefited from this. During this time, a worldwide bourgeois revolution and reform took place: in Russia, Tsar Alexander II abolished the system of serfdom in 1861 and embarked on the path of capitalism; in the United States, the civil war caused the United States to abolish the slave System provided a wealth of free labor for the development of capitalism. Germany and Italy achieved the reunification of the country through the dynastic war. In 1868, when Japan implemented the Meiji Reform to learn from the West, it embarked on a path of capitalism. This article analyzes the ways taken by the two countries in this great revolution from the perspective of national traditions of the two countries in the United States and Germany.
