Introduction Since the early 1900s, flotation in Broken Hill, Australia, has been used in industrial production, the flotation process has evolved into the single most important mineral separation process available to beneficiation engineers. Flotation statistics, whether in dealing with the growth of tonnage, or in the successful separation of ore types are impressive. Due to the declining ore grade and many of the existing ores being a mixture of finely divided minerals, many of which are highly oxidized, beneficiation scientists and engineers are now faced with the problem of improving and changing conventional flotation technologies in order to effectively Sort these more difficult to pick the type of ore. Flotation methods are not generated through extensive basic research, but are developed in long-term application of test methods, just as many other methods of processing raw ore. Therefore, the concern of most basic research in this area for a long time is to explain why the effects of the existing method are so good. We are now at a stage where flotation is needed
