广播剧在我国经历了半个多世纪的发展,但比起话剧、电影来,还属于年轻剧种。在受众中,应该说广播剧还是有一定影响的,但还没有引起广泛的关注和重视,理论研究尚欠缺。由于广播剧只能用声音而不能用画面塑造人物、再现故事情节,表现手法单一;因此,一些有影响的剧作家很少侧重广播剧创作。但广播的独特声音魅力是其他媒体所不可替代的,尤其是随着立体声调频广播的开通,广播的音质、音色更趋于完美,尤其是车载广播的不断普及,以及网络在线收听的新模式的介入,广播收听已由单一化向多元化转变,广播剧作为广播节目的一个重要元素,正不断被受众认知。
