串联重复短序列是大量重复序列中的一种,目前对其研究越来越多。其中的VNDR、VNTR在人群中杂合率高、多态性强,已成功应用于基因诊断,基因制图等方面,是一有前途的遗传标记系统。此外,串联重复短序列还有活跃的生物学功能,它能引起DNA结构变化、影响基因调控、直接编码蛋白质,有的还有自身特异结合蛋白。本文就此作一综述,以期对其引起一定的重视。
The tandem repeat short sequence is one of a large number of repetitive sequences. At present, more and more researches have been done on it. Among them, VNDR and VNTR have high heterozygosity and strong polymorphism in human population, and have been successfully applied in genetic diagnosis and gene mapping and are promising genetic marker systems. In addition, short tandem repeats also have active biological functions, which can cause changes in DNA structure, affecting gene regulation, direct coding of proteins, and some also have their own specific binding protein. This article makes a summary of it, with a view to arouse its attention.
