Introduction Polk studied the transient behavior of aperture antennas and proposed a formula based on spectral analysis. However, as noted by scholars such as D.K. Cheng and F.I.Tseng, it is difficult to use this formula. For this reason, for one-dimensional situations, they propose formulas for direct calculation in the time domain. Obviously, since this formula contains the derivative of the pore size distribution, it is difficult to generalize directly to 2D. In this paper, from a linear system point of view, for rectangular and circular aperture antennas, a new direct time-domain
