This paper uses Porter’s Five Forces model to analyze the opportunities and challenges that traditional e-commerce brings to traditional commerce under the Internet era and to provide a strategic choice for the traditional commercial response to the impact of e-commerce. The application of this model is illustrated with the example of Daniel Trade City.
