云南路南石林位于云南省路南彝族自治县内,中国最大的石林。该石林总面积约40余万亩,石林中最著名的有剑峰、莲花峰、阿诗玛峰、狮子峰、五老峰、万年灵芝峰、书生赶考峰等。四川兴文石林位于四川兴文县城南20公里处,方圆十余公里范围内,地上地下,溶岩石林突兀参差,如笋散布。每石高约1-2米,峥嵘散布,状如波澜。林区有一面积约6万平方米
