2003年7月起,北京奥林匹克森林公园及中心区景观规划设计方案开始面向全球征集。奥林匹克公园位于北京城中轴线北端,总用地约1135公顷,是2008年奥运会的核心区域,其中森林公园占地680公顷,拟规划建设为绿色生态地带,成为北京市区与外围之间的一道绿色屏障,以改善城市的环境、气候,并供人们娱乐、休闲;中心区为291公顷,主要包括体育、文化、会议和商业服务设施和奥运村等。景观规划设计的要求是,能够体现北京奥运会“科技奥运、绿色奥运、人文奥运”的主题。
Since July 2003, the landscape planning and design program of the Beijing Olympic Forest Park and Central Area has begun to be solicited globally. Olympic Park is located at the northern end of the central axis of Beijing City, with a total land area of about 1135 hectares. It is the core area of the 2008 Olympic Games. Forest Park covers an area of 680 hectares and is planned to be a green ecological zone. It will become a green barrier between the urban area and the periphery of Beijing. To improve the city’s environment and climate and provide entertainment and leisure for its people. The 291-hectare central area mainly includes sports, cultural, conference and business services and the Olympic Village. Landscape planning and design requirements are able to reflect the Beijing Olympic Games “science and technology Olympics, green Olympics, humanistic Olympics” theme.
