To investigate the dilation effect of vasodilators on arterial dilatation of spasticity in patients with delayed cerebral vasospasm (DCVS) after subarachnoid hemorrhage. Methods Two animal models of DCVS dogs injected with fresh autologous arterial blood via the foramen magnum were used. Eight dogs in the DCVS group and eight dogs in the control group. Nimodipine was formulated at a concentration of 10-6 mol / L and papaverine was formulated at a concentration of 10-4 mol / L. Two different vasodilators were directly applied to the basilar artery of normal and DCVS dog animal models. The direct effects of the two drugs on the arteries of the spasticity in normal and DCVS were observed dynamically by microscopic camera system. Results Nimodipine and papaverine had significant dilatation effects on the basilar artery of normal dogs (Q = 19.2744, P <0.01). However, nimodipine did not dilate the spastic arteries of DCVS dogs. Papaverine Spasm artery mild dilatation effect. The conclusion suggests that nimodipine improves cerebral blood flow by expanding the non-convulsive artery. Papaver’s spasm on the non-spasm and spasm arteries have expansion, but its short-term dilation of blood vessels.
