透壁刺激(Transmural stimulation,TMS)系采用两刺激电极分别置于所实验平滑肌组织壁的两侧,通过溶液导电起到间接刺激平滑肌壁内神经的作用。是研究神经递质及药物作用的一种极为方便而有效的实验方法。离体气管透壁刺激法,可用于分析平喘药物与神经递质的关系;还可用亲探讨豚鼠气道平滑肌的非肾上腺素能神经抑制性反应(NAIR)的递质,这将有利于哮喘等高敏性疾病病因的阐明和治疗药物的研究。
