1991年7月,我和老邴、老孙相聚在加拿大萨斯卡吞第八届国际油菜会上。老同学多年不见,感慨良多,其中之一是:“道耐确实不错！” 基思·道耐(R.Keith Downey),加拿大萨斯卡吞农业研究站副站长、油料室主任。 国际油菜盛会居然选在这小小的偏远的萨斯卡吞召开,只因为这里出个个道耐。 那是1986年8月,弟二届中加油菜会议在西宁召开时,我见到了道耐。当一眼看到三个气宇轩昂的外国专家时,我略感紧张,不由自主地放慢了脚步,思考着第一句英语怎样开口。我这边略一犹豫,那边已有人向我微笑看说“嗨！”接着他跨前一步,向我伸出手来道:“你好！我是基思·得耐！”啊,他就是道耐！ 1987年5月,我来到加拿大萨斯卡吞农业研究
July 1991, I and Lao, Lao Sun gathered in Saskatchewan, Canada, the Eighth International Rapeseed.
