对外汉语教材常使用三圆点式省略号来表示虚指性省略,即固定结构中的可能性内容省略。从规范化角度出发,国家标准中的省略号应增加“可能性内容省略”这一义项,从而把三圆点式省略号规范为六圆点式。在此基础上,应将汉语拼音和英文注释汉字中的省略号都应统一书写为六圆点式。 Foreign language teaching materials often use the three dot ellipsis to indicate the virtual omission, that is, the fixed structure of the contents of the omission.
