参考咨询服务是读者图书参阅和信息获取的强力帮手,是现代图书馆工作的重要组成部分,是最能凸显图书馆职能的主体环节,同时也是衡量图书馆整体服务水平的重要标志之一。在现今这个信息量空前巨大、信息传递空前飞速的时代,怎样更好地洞察和顺应社会现状,最大限度地挖掘和利用文献信息资源,使其更好地为社会经济、企业发展和科研事业提供服务,是相关人士应该重点关注的一个问题。而解决此问题的关键在于参考咨询服务的水平高低,这不仅关系到能否为读者提供满意的服务,而且还影响图书馆的生存与发展。本文对参考咨询服务定义及发展历程进行介绍,对当前图书馆参考咨询服务的不足进行分析,并针对性地给出了改进建议,以期与业内人士进行探讨。
Reference service is a powerful helper for readers’ reference and access to information. It is an important part of modern library work, the most important part of library function, and an important indicator of the overall service level of a library. In today’s era of unprecedented information and rapid information transmission, how to better understand and adapt to the current social situation, to maximize the excavation and utilization of information resources to make it better for the social economy, business development and research projects Service, is a problem that stakeholders should focus on.
